We give generous investment discounts / enhancements to experienced investors who are happy to choose their own investment and financial planning products.

Life Cover
The cost of life insurance can vary considerably between providers. We will find the cheapest premium for the cover you require, searching among well know UK insurance companies. Your premium will then be discounted further, as we use part of our commission to reduce your premiums.

Investment Discounts
We offer a straightforward discount service on the investments listed in the drop down menus above without any sales hype, providing a friendly and efficient service when placing your investments.

How do we save you money?
As with most items that one buys, the cost of selling is built into the charging structures of most investment products. When Independent Financial Advisers like Power Robbins introduce business, the sales cost is paid to the introducer as commission. If you bought such a product direct from the investment company, the company would retain this “sales charge” money. Buying direct from the investment company you will pay the full price, but buying through Power Robbins can save you money in most cases.

Charges and expenses for your investment
Our discounts, or premium enhancements, are given mainly by commission sacrifice, and in some cases by extra discounts we have negotiated for our clients as well. Please refer to the investment company’s literature and key features for the charges and expenses for any investment you are considering. (Our discount lists give details of how to obtain investment company literature.)

Please feel free to ask us if you would like to know how much commission we would be receiving for any investment you are considering. Details of the amount of commission Power Robbins have received/will receive, will be given on your contract note (OEICs, Unit Trusts, ISAs, ISA transfers), or on your cancellation documentation (capital investment bonds, income & growth plans, and life insurance policies).

Power Robbins are not investment managers
We do not manage any of the investments on our discount lists. The names and addresses of the fund managers are given in investment companies’ literature. Our discount lists give contact details by telephone and/or internet for investment companies, except where we will provide you with the literature.

Product literature
In the event of any conflict between product literature and information provided by Power Robbins, the product literature shall prevail.

Tax treatment of investments
Where investments currently carry taxation allowances, these are subject to statutory change. The value of tax relief (if any) will depend upon your individual circumstances.

Power Robbins do not offer advice
We do not offer advice as to the suitability of any investments included in our discount lists, or included in any of our advertisements, or as to the merits of any investments included in our discount lists.

Power Robbins’ service is for the setting up of investments (and for transfers / re-registrations)
Our service is for the setting up of any investment or policy, not for cashing in, making amendments, or advising on ongoing investments. We can also offer discounts for most transfers of ISAs, or to re-register existing holdings.

If you should change your mind after investing
Our discount customers invest on an execution only basis (which means you have selected an investment from our discount lists or contacted us directly to find out our cost saving offer for a particular investment), and because of this are not entitled to cancellation rights.
